Jeep attacks with 7 Concepts that leave you dribbling

This year Jeep is heading to Moab with 7 brand new Concepts that will make you praying they will make it to the factory.

Star of the concepts has to be a retro design of the cherokee chief SJ. Next to the Wrangler Africa which clearly is built for adventure.

Jeep Chief concept

Wearing a fetching shade of Ocean Blue paint, the "surf-rated" Jeep Chief stood out among its earth-toned fellow concepts like a slightly buzzed Jeff Spicoli at a funeral—and we mean that in a good way.

Jeep Wrangler Africa concept

Offering the best mix of practical function and show-car uniqueness of all the 2015 Easter Safari concepts, the Wrangler Africa gets durable steel wheels and a 2.8-liter diesel engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail concept

Compared with the rest of this year's Moab concepts, the Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail is a study in restraint. Assembled almost entirely from the Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts catalogs, it's also the easiest to replicate in the real world.

Jeep Wrangler Staff Car concept

Underneath this slab of retro-military goodness lies a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It was built as a salute to Jeep military vehicles, but we can think of more than a few sportsmen who would sign up for a tour of duty in this concept as a hunting or fishing vehicle. Things looking dire on the traffic front? Pull the pin on this shifter-mounted grenade and let God sort 'em out.

Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder concept

Anyone who's ever spent a cold night broken down on a trail can appreciate the purpose-driven Wrangler Red Rock Responder, which is packed with tools and safety gear. These "Red Rocks" you speak of—is that a thinly veiled reference to spilled blood?

Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk concept

Even the Renegade, Jeep's newest model, gets in on the Moab fun for 2015. Clad in desert tan and matte black, it looks almost—almost—as serious as its big brothers.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander concept

Before you write off the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander concept as just a mildly gussied-up version of the factory vehicle, take a look at its bonafides: a 3.0-liter diesel V-6, air suspension, a 9000-pound winch, skid plates, rock rails, tow hooks, and 34-inch tires. Completing the package is a room for two up top.
